Odds Roller
Odds Roller is the simplest of the Originals and the quickest way to see how the maths works. One roll lands between 0.00 and 99.99, and you decide how likely you are to win by moving a slider from 2% to 95%, then choosing under or over. A small chance pays a big multiplier, a large chance pays a small one, and every setting returns 97% in the long run. The screen shows your multiplier and payout before you roll, so there are no surprises. Afterwards, the fairness panel lets you recompute the roll from the revealed seed. Play for free points only; they have no cash value.

How a round works
Set your stake, then set the win chance with the slider anywhere from 2% to 95%. Choose “under” or “over” and roll. With “under”, you win when the roll lands below your chance; with “over”, you win when it lands at 100 minus your chance or higher. At 50% under, any roll from 0.00 to 49.99 wins.
The payout is your stake times 97, divided by the chance, rounded down. That is why a 50% chance pays 1.94 times and a 2% chance pays 48.5 times. The screen shows the multiplier and the payout before you roll, so nothing is a surprise.
Odds and payouts
The table shows what a few popular chances pay. Every row has the same long-run return of 97%; the chance only decides how rare and how large the wins are.
| Win chance | Multiplier | Payout on a 100-point stake |
|---|---|---|
| 2% | 48.5× | 4,850 |
| 5% | 19.4× | 1,940 |
| 10% | 9.70× | 970 |
| 25% | 3.88× | 388 |
| 50% | 1.94× | 194 |
| 75% | 1.29× | 129 |
| 95% | 1.02× | 102 |
Check a roll yourself
The roll is floor(rand(0) x 10000) / 100, where rand(0) is the first four bytes of HMAC-SHA256 with the revealed server seed as key and the message “client seed:nonce:0”, divided by 2 to the power of 32. Hash the revealed server seed with SHA-256 and compare it to the fingerprint shown before the roll.
The Verify panel under the game does both steps for you and shows a tick when the roll and the fingerprint match.
Tips for rolling
- Every roll is independent. A streak of losses does not make a win “due”, and a streak of wins does not make one less likely.
- Low chances pay a lot and hit rarely. A 5% chance means losing about nineteen rolls in twenty, so size the stake for the dry spells.
- The edge is 3% at every chance. Moving the slider changes the swings, not the value, which is the same idea as in RTP versus volatility.
- One daily mission asks for a win at a chance of 25% or lower, a good reason to try a low-chance roll with a small stake.
